chameleon dsp hardware review

This is a very good idea for playing live. The one thing I believe that is killing the idea
off is that you can't hear your idea's without flashing the chip and the independent controller.
That limits both the user base and the amount of software for the chip. A free emulater for the dsp5600 where
you can hear the results of what you have done would do alot to keep it alive. It apears that
they are trying to get rid of inventory. These chips were spunoff to Freescale wich is one of
the dumber names for a hardware/software company. Look for free software tools and you get the
company name.
