Electronic Music

I am looking at ableton live this weekend looks like there is a bit of a learning curve to say the least. I am not sure what vst's I would like in my 'rig' with it.. I currently don't have the license for it but since I am still playing around with the voices and driving plus the impulses I am probably not ready for the 30 day deal yet... $100 is still alot of money and $1000 certainly is (and then you have equipment on top of that)
