probility sequencing language for csound
I am probily going to add this to the ride tab editor. It is inspired by the probiblity drum machine in jeskola buzz. I don't think I used the random right but here is a preview of the lang anyway
f1000 89 . . . 9
,
the first number is the frequency it needs to start with one letter f is good. periods are skipped, numbers are a percentage chance that the note will be used. I am planning on two commands
dur=
time=
You can redifine these as long as there is no space between the = and the number. now that I can use linux on my windows machine I will be able to test it in both os's. This is a pre-release preview for any reader I might have.

probility sequencing language 1.02
probility sequencing language 1.02 is released. I changed the int to float so that decimals can be used.. Should be much better. I added some html to it so that it is easier to get to the instructions. I am thinking about adding drift as an option when defining the freq but not this version.

There are two files 1 and 2. 1 is just one iteration with 2 you define the number of passes you are going to make. everything is now sorted. You can also use 'x' if you want the note every time.

It would be nice to know of suggested changes. Most likely this will be added to ride tab editor (and ride tab editor will be moved from the awful file host it is on). text based piano rolls seem to work well with it. You may need to sort the output file.

probility sequencing language (test music)
an album of test music
the first track is from a piano instrument on the csound disk.. maybe it isn't that piano like.. A new version of the software will be out that treats decimals much better.
